‘The Decarbonisation of Trondheim’s transport sector’
Date: 15 February 2018
Facilitation: Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)
Through the project ‘Greener Trondheim’, the city has made the ambitious goal of reducing traffic related emissions significantly towards 2030. Currently, approximately half of the city’s total emissions comes from this sector.
Reaching these goals will necessitate the cooperation between a wide variety of actors, both from sectors of industry, finance, the local municipality, the university and the people who occupy and use the city on a daily basis. This workshop brings together key stakeholders with varying experience within the transport sector to discuss local goals, and possible trajectories for realizing these ambitions.
