In February 2017 SHAPE ENERGY organised a workshop for high profile scholars at King’s College in Cambridge (UK). It was a unique gathering of leading academics across a wide range of disciplines. They spent one day together working to contrast and compare disciplinary perspectives concerning the future of low-carbon energy in Europe. This report provides an overview of the work carried out during that day.

Findings from this workshop will directly shape the organisation of upcoming SHAPE ENERGY activities and it has already led to some of the earliest project outputs, such as the SHAPE ENERGY Lexicon. The Research & Innovation Agenda 2020-2030 will be drafted in the coming months.
