This programme will recognise exceptional researchers and innovators who are developing novel ways of making energy cleaner, cheaper, and more reliable and using it more efficiently.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>It would be excellent to ensure Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) representation in this programme, but \u2013 being a technology focussed programme \u2013 this is by no means guaranteed. Thus we would very much encourage energy-SSH researchers and practitioners to apply.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Mission Innovation Champions could be working in government\/policy, universities, research organisations, or their own companies.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Participating countries from which there will be one champion each: Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, and the United Arab Emirates.\u00a0<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>One Champion will also be selected to represent the European Commission from: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain (non Mission Innovation members).<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Being an MI Champion will bring visibility and connections through the programme.\u00a0Additionally, everyone who submits a valid application will receive\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.michampions.net\/#scoring\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=es&amp;q=https:\/\/www.michampions.net\/%23scoring&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1531406996376000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHnbb4mlFdwsaP6f2R1S5cFZouPtA\">scores and comments<\/a>\u00a0from five other participants and may also receive feedback from an expert\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.michampions.net\/#judges\/evaluation-panel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=es&amp;q=https:\/\/www.michampions.net\/%23judges\/evaluation-panel&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1531406996376000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGe1VcRj_Mac3J4Z224CDKe4kCLBg\">Evaluation Panel<\/a>.\u00a0The program was launched at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mission-innovation.net\/mi-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=es&amp;q=http:\/\/mission-innovation.net\/mi-3\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1531406996376000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGfebM4xuDLy4XukTHZskN5CjxLBg\">Third Mission Innovation Ministerial<\/a>\u00a0on 22-23 May 2018 at Malm\u00f6 and the Champions will be introduced at the Fourth Mission Innovation Ministerial meeting in Vancouver in 2019.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.michampions.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=es&amp;q=http:\/\/www.michampions.net\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1531406996376000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGpVjTij_uwRscpb3K8n9JP_QPgCg\">Register or nominate someone<\/a>\u00a0before <strong>10 September 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><span class=\" fusion-imageframe imageframe-none imageframe-1 hover-type-none\"><img width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" title=\"MIChampion\" src=\"https:\/\/shapeenergy.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MIChampion.png\" alt class=\"img-responsive wp-image-5070\" srcset=\"https:\/\/shapeenergy.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MIChampion-200x100.png 200w, https:\/\/shapeenergy.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MIChampion-400x200.png 400w, https:\/\/shapeenergy.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MIChampion-600x300.png 600w, https:\/\/shapeenergy.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MIChampion-800x400.png 800w, https:\/\/shapeenergy.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MIChampion.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/span><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This programme will recognise exceptional researchers and innovators who are developing novel ways of making energy cleaner.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":5080,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_bbp_topic_count":0,"_bbp_reply_count":0,"_bbp_total_topic_count":0,"_bbp_total_reply_count":0,"_bbp_voice_count":0,"_bbp_anonymous_reply_count":0,"_bbp_topic_count_hidden":0,"_bbp_reply_count_hidden":0,"_bbp_forum_subforum_count":0,"_mi_skip_tracking":false},"categories":[9],"tags":[320,296,299,356,88],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.13 -
