A presentation by professor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.milanzeleny.com\/en-US\/pages\/1\/-\/0\/2\/-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Milan Zelen\u00fd<\/a>, one of the most cited Czech economists opened the workshop.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the innovative storytelling method, the workshop aimed at promotion of sustainable energy future and positive perception of renewable energy sources. Smart city best practice and municipal bioenergy projects were presented. Following specific topics were discussed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reasons and solutions to incoherency of national and regional energy strategies with municipality action plans<\/li>\n<li>Possibilities of municipalities to be energy self-sufficient<\/li>\n<li>Best practice examples of smart village\/city\/region<\/li>\n<li>Perspectives of electromobility in the Zlin region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-2 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first fusion-column-last\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:20px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p>The workshop brought together stakeholders concerned with the regional energy future, including academia, business, public sector, local government and NGOs.
