Over October 2017-February 2018 seventeen Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) undertook a SHAPE ENERGY funded internship within ten H2020 energy projects. We have monitored the progression of ESR placements and collated feedback from ESRs and H2020 project coordinators who hosted them to write this review.<\/p>\n

Now we would like to share with you some key findings and lessons learned from the ESR placements, guidance for future internships and information on how we communicated the ESRs experiences.
