Informed consent regarding use of privately contributed data (e.g. surveys and interviews) is mandatory across the participatory activities of SHAPE ENERGY. Publicly available personal data may be processed<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">where the processing is necessary for SHAPE ENERGYto perform a task in the public interest or for official functions, and the task or function has a clear basis in law.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">SHAPE ENERGY uses the personal information given by data subjects via the website to send our e-newsletter every 1-2 months and to contribute to our online database. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The SHAPE ENERGY researcher database\u00a0contains key details of individual researchers and research organisationswith the aim of facilitating connections and encouraging future energy-SSH
